Adam Dunn blasted a homerun and had 4 RBI as the Jefferson Park Penguins
topped the Lewisville Fire Ants by a score of 6 to 2 at the ballpark.
It was a good day for Jefferson Park thanks to Dunn. He slapped a one-base
hit which plated a run in the 1st inning, lined a base-hit scoring a run in
the 3rd inning and bombed a two-run dinger (his 17th of the season) in the
5th inning. Jefferson Park banged out 9 on the afternoon.
The victory was credited to Jon Lieber(6-4) who went 5 and 2/3 innings,
allowing 2 runs. Brian Lawrence(6-5) was tagged with the loss. He pitched 8
innings and surrendered 9 hits and 4 walks.
